She is the immediate past president of the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Certification Board and is a member of the SDNP, DNA, and AANP. She participated in the creation of several derm NP milestones including the Scope & Standards of Practice, the Derm NP Competencies, and most recently, the national accreditation awarded to the DCNP credential and exam. Recently retired, she works PRN in private practice and volunteers at a local indigent clinic.
